My son, 23, has been battling Epilepsy since he was 10. We have tried just about every madocetiin and have only had minimal control. After his most recent video monitoring, his neurologist believes that David has Lennox-Gastaut Syndrome which is a rare & severe form of Epilepsy and LGS doesn't respond to meds. His final med to try is Febatol. Is there any info/documentation that the MAD works with people with LGS?Desparate mother

Of course. You need to mtiaanin stable sugar levels (the brain is very sensitive to this ever seen a girl pass out from not eating?). And you need to get regular sleep. Say no to drugs, too. Especially caffeine.I personally don't smoke, drink, or use any drugs (except prescribed) and I don't have seizures, but just in case, I'm already doing what I am supposed to do.

Hello- I am not unfamiliar with seelippy- it has been affecting my family now for two years. My three year old son has left frontal lobe seelippy. He is on a daily medicine with supplement. I wanted to say thank you- I am a strong advocate of raising awareness to the cause. I recently came across The Epilepsy Warriors Foundation on Pinterest and Facebook and am grateful for the support. In honor of Purple Day today- my county co workers and I are all purpled out! As are my three children. Thanks for all you do to bring awareness to a cause.Dawn

In the UK you have to be seizure free for 12 mtnhos before you can drive. You are advised by the neurologist not to have baths if your epilepsy is not controlled. It's advisable not to drink alcohol or take recreational drugs as these can be causes of Epilepsy. You can get it at any time of life and it's not necessarily hereditary. You can lead a relatively normal live with it so long as its controlled with the right medication.Epilepsy is a common neurological condition that affects about 1 in every 200.There are 3 broad categories Primary Generalized seizures, Partial seizures and Secondary Generalized seizures. Some people only have seizures at night whilst asleep.I have suffered with Epilepsy for 2 years now, it's still not controlled but i'm learning to cope. There are loads of sites you can Google to find out about this disability but the best one for me, the one I found most helpful isin the source bar.Good luck with your project and I hope you find the information you need
